Discussion, how to find a job

How to find a job? You will have a lot experience to share...

I wish someone can give me suggestion on it. Nowadays not only for international student, but also for local student, finding a job is not easy, I wish all my linked friends can share their precious experience how to find a job?

Before I came to Canada, I Google internet, somebody say that, recommendation is really important in Canada, if you have  a lot of friends,  through them , you can find a job easily and faster.

But for more people, finding  job on-line is the common way.  I will attach some useful job seeking website, maybe it will help you . And if my friends find useful information or website, please share to us , thanks for your help.

Tips: Even though it is a internship chance, we would better sign a contract, the contract will protect you in some case. If your boss find another person to do the internship, they have to talk to you instead of tell you,"you work very well, but we find a better one, so do not come tomorrow."

We do not dream to get pay from the internship, but nowadays,  some company use hiring add to cheating people, they make a telephone call to you, do not ask anything, no requirement, they wish you can come to their office have a interview, but when you arrive there, they start to sell their product to you, or say you need to pay the application fee, so when they call you to interview, ask more detail information.

Vancouver Craigslist
Actually compared with LinkedIn, I like Craigslist better, all the job opportunity are in Vancouver, you can apply and contact employee easily.Recently too much fake or trick "job" on LinkedIn, when you open it, nothing inside.

 * T-Net British Columbia -- IT area: I think this website is much more suit for us,  the website
provides job opportunity in IT area, you can find variety chance, but most of company require at least
two year experience, how to solve these problem, it is headache.
